Psychological Assessments
A psychological assessment usually includes multiple components, and provides information about different aspects of an individual's cognitive, academic, and behavioural functioning. An assessment can be helpful for many things such as evaluation of overall cognitive funcitoning and academic achievement, as well as potential diagnoses such as ADHD and Specific Learning Disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc).
After initial interview, your psychologist will determine which tests are needed for you based on information gathered in the interview. Testing may seem intimidating, however it is designed to help you and your psychologist gain a better understanding of your functioning, and can help to appropriately guide treatment.
Below is a general pricing guide, however prices may vary depending on the tests needed for your assessment.
